At Home Help

Infancy: families can build a trusting relationship by showing affection, and interaction with the infants. They can also use self regulation skills that include staying calm, and being gentle with physical touch and support for the infants.

Toddlerhood: Encourage your child to express their emotions and help them understand and discuss them so they have an understanding of what they are going through and feeling at the time.

Early Childhood: model and practice their social skills that include empathy for others. Always continue to teach and reinforce social skills such as having patience.

Keeping up with these strategies will not only help at home, but it will continue to help in school and it helps keep the children on the same routines.
